Julie Foster, MSN, FNP
Founder, Medical Director & Family Nurse Practitioner
Julie Foster founded Pohala Clinic in 2007 after more than 35 years of experience in nursing and integrative medicine. Board-certified in family practice and anthroposophic medicine, she brings together conventional care, naturopathy, functional medicine and Indigenous wisdom to support each patient as a whole person.
A sixth-generation Oregonian with Native Hawaiian roots, Julie’s leadership is deeply shaped by the values of Aloha, service and human connection. Today, she focuses on complex and integrative care, mentoring future healers and guiding Pohala’s multidisciplinary team in its mission to humanize medicine and create a true place of healing.
