Tiki Staton Jones LMT Swedish, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue, Thai, Myofascial Release, Cranio-Sacral, Sports Massage techniques.
Aloha! I’m Tiki Staton Jones from Oahu, Hawaii. In 2007 I fell in love with the dynamic emerald city of Portland and graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts.
Growing up in Hawaii I was taught by my ‘ohana (family) some Lomi Lomi and Shiatsu techniques. My mother called my hands magic. When I moved to Portland I decided to not only facilitate my own healing, but to use my magic hands to facilitate others’ healing; to steward the body back into homeostasis/balance/to put into perfect order (ho’oponopono).
Depending on what my clients requests and needs are, I access Swedish, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue, Thai, Myofascial Release, Cranio-Sacral, and Sports Massage techniques. Hawaiian Lomi Lomi starts with pule (prayer); setting an intention and long strokes that utilize the forearms more than the thumbs. Both Thai and Cranio-Sacral massage can be practiced fully dressed in comfortable clothing. Traditional Thai can be on a floor mat, but I practice it on the table top.
I love people and love to be of service. I can not help it, it is the Hawaiian way.
When I’m not working with clients I can be found hiking and exploring the amazing PNW with my husband, our three children, and our dog. When I can, I enjoy flamenco dancing, crafting, cooking, and jujitsu.
E Ho’omaluhia Me Ka Honua, (May peace prevail on Earth)
